Fall 2016 SPEAKERS:
Mark Casella is the President and Founder of Coppertree and has been nationally recognized as an expert in helping families to create powerful legacies and to think strategically about how they want their family resources to support their pursuits of what matters most. Since the founding of Coppertree in 2005, Mark has developed tools and processes he and his colleagues use to make a big difference in the lives of the families they serve. Mark is living his dream, helping families build unbreakable bonds and creating lasting legacies.
As a second generation co-owner of a privately held family business, Mark is uniquely positioned to aid families in addressing the particular challenges of multi-generational enterprise management and family legacy planning. Using his expertise in Organization Development and Finance, Mark helps families understand and employ all forms of their capital, including their time, knowledge, experiences, connections, and economic resources, all in pursuit of their goals for the present and future.
When Mark isn’t helping families live out their legacies, you’ll find him helping nonprofits create theirs. Mark continues to find new ways of bringing people together in support of worthy causes that make real differences in our world. He and his wife Mary, are actively building their lasting legacy, as they spend time with their four daughters, their spouses, and five grandchildren.
Mark holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame Mendoza School of Business (cum laude)
